Powered by a 500-watt motor, this classic mix blender margaritas and smoothies, mixes soups and sauces, chops fruits and vegetables, grinds coffee beans and nuts, grates cheese and coconut, and crushes ice. The mixer has a high-speed control and pulse on low speed, which can be maintained in a continuous action. Its glass container of 40 ounces, and ribbed-conical base fits Oster Beehive mark, which is covered with shiny chrome and fitted with non-slip rubber feet. Whole stainless steel blade removes for cleaning, and the container is graduated in grams and liters. Fully assembled, the device is 16 inches tall on a base 7-1/4-inch-diameter. With the exception of glass containers in the dishwasher, all parties – including the plastic cover with plastic sensing element 2 ounces – to require handwashing.
